In our inaugural issue of 2024, we are thrilled to present to you our notable
accomplishments and milestones as we look forward to an exceptional year
ahead.
In Mukondo C, Kyarisiima Enid, a vibrant 32-year-old caregiver at Lucky Nurs
ery School, is making a significant impact. Part of the Kulea Watoto project in
Kyaka II Refugee Settlement, the school nurtures 235 children aged 3-6 years.
Enid goes beyond the classroom by actively establishing and maintaining
demonstration gardens, providing practical lessons in nutrition and sustain
able living. Despite challenges like a prolonged drought, her efforts have led
to a bountiful harvest, benefiting both the school and households in need.

To address these challenges, there’s a need for targeted awareness cam

and providing legal aid clinics and workshops on land-related laws. Strength

challenges in refugee settlements. By promoting awareness, addressing
cultural practices, and enhancing access to justice, we can ensure sustain
