KRC-UGANDA

COVID-19: How KRC is working during the coronavirus pandemic.

The wellbeing of our team and the people we serve remains our top during this time of the second lockdown. Since March 2020, we have continued to work in small groups and sometimes remotely to ensure adherence to social distancing while observing all other set Standard Operating Procedures by Ministry of Health.

Our regular broadcast on KRC FM Radio continue to provide information while our team of Nutritionists at our Nutrition Clinic in Fort Portal and in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement have played a commendable frontline job to serve the communities in need. Under strict caution, our agriculture extension services continue to reach family farms to strengthen their resilience in the face of climate change and the pandemic.

The secretariate team is in constant touch with our development partners and the board on phone, email, zoom, Microsoft teams, Google Hangouts and WhatsApp and occasionally in small meetings.
