Residents of Bumadu in Bundibugyo Town council have cause to smile, after the Bumaddu-Bundipwada road, which was hitherto one of the Council worst roads in the Town was graded.The road had gone into a very bad state after floods hit the town council and the entire Bundibugyo District, recently.

The road had potholes, lacked culverts, poor drainage system and during the rainy season, water used to flood making movement of people a very big challenge. This issue was presented to the leaders while at a KRC organized Face the Citizens Rally in Bundibugyo Town Council. The Mayor committed to use the road fund to repair the road.

Using the road fund, the Town Council repaired this road. The road was widened, culverts were put and the drainage system was also worked on. The road is now passable and actually during the rainy season, water no longer floods along the road. Murram was also put and the road
