• KYENJOJO Citizens up in ‘arms’ over sell of police bond, DPC forced to conduct community policing

The citizens of Kyenjojo Town council have risen up in arms against extotion by police, mainly in ‘selling’ bond.It was revealed that the police officers were extorting money from those seeking bond and other services . This was reavealed during a face the citizens rally organised by KRC in Kyenjojo council.

The DPC who was in attendance assured citizens that he would personally take the responsibility to bring all the heads of departments within the police to the community to explain and senzitize the citizens and devise mechanisms on how they could work together in maintaining law and order- whether by a police officer or a citizen within the town council. In partnership with the RDC, the DPC promised to ensure peace and security in the town council.

The community was advised to always report errant and thieving police personnel
