KRC Uganda strategic planning period 2016-2021, heralded by the theme, Increasing Household Incomes and Civic Competence for Improved Livelihoods”, officially ended at the close of 2021.


A new chapter of our strategic plan 2022-2026 is dawning.  The development of the new strategic plan started with wider stakeholder consultations, gathering their insights and accepting their scrutiny of our methods of work. As the process evolves, what’s clear is that the next phase of executing our mission will recoup our research mandate within KRC Uganda’s national mandate to influence development priorities through policy advocacy and practical solutions to glaring socio-economic challenges, including of urban food systems; climate change and energy; youth skilling and employment; enterprise development, markets and values chains development and governance. In the coming days, we will be glad to share with you the concrete outcomes of this process.
