This is yet another area of focus at KRC looking at  strengthening conflict prevention and transformation mechanisms in Rwenzori region, carrying  out massive awareness raising on; the culture of tolerance, co-existence, non-violence,  land, and the law governing land among rural households  in the Rwenzori region.

Kasunga regional leaders retreat has been one of our strengths that brings together different actors from the central government, local government, cultural and religious institutions and CSOs to discuss regional development issues. This meeting discusses issues of land, cultural institutions and natural resources management in relation to the drivers of conflict in the region

This a form of debate that follows the German format of debating- and is known to be an empowering form of debate and provides a well leveled ground for participant participation.
